Choose suppliers you can build on.
Online sourcing finds options fast. GIS validates the companies behind them, meets them on the ground, and develops the ones worth keeping.
Online sourcing cannot tell you whether a company is what it claims to be. GIS adds the steps that can: validation against official sources, people on the ground to negotiate and assess the operation, and a supplier development program designed case by case for the suppliers you keep.
From a long list to suppliers you can trust
- 1
Online sourcing
A broad, fast shortlist from platforms, trade fairs and our own supplier network.
- 2
Official validation
Legal existence, registration and standing, checked against official sources that GIS has access to.
- 3
Ground missions
Negotiation and on-site assessment by people who know the region and speak the language.
- 4
Supplier development
An on-site assessment confirms the company exists where it says and shows its real operation. A factory audit studies quality standards, organization, infrastructure, production, R&D and QA/QC. Improvement plans follow, built around your program and products.

Questions buyers ask
Why is online sourcing not enough?
Between what you need and what ships there are four versions of the product, and they rarely match: what you require, what the manufacturer understands, what gets documented, and what production actually does. Online sourcing shows listings, not those gaps. Validation against official sources and people on the ground bring the four versions together before you place an order.
What do you verify about a company?
Legal existence and registration, legal standing and any adverse records, who really makes the goods and where, production site and capacity, organization, infrastructure, R&D and QA/QC systems, ownership and related companies, and the documents behind the claims.
What is a supplier development program?
A plan, designed case by case, to bring a supplier up to your requirements: assessments, audits, corrective actions and follow-up. It starts only for suppliers that passed validation and are worth keeping.
What do a supplier assessment and a factory audit cover?
The supplier assessment confirms on site that the company exists where it says and documents its real operation. A factory audit goes deeper: quality standards, commercial registration, organization, infrastructure, production, R&D and QA/QC, and any other aspect you require. Both are chosen case by case within your program, after the company registration check.
How does sourcing connect with quality?
Quality assurance prevents problems before and during manufacturing, so choosing and developing suppliers whose processes already match your requirements is the cheapest quality measure there is. Requirements must be clear through sourcing, manufacturing and shipping, in the language of the factory floor, and once an order is placed, quality control confirms conformance at the points where the risk is.
Can GIS represent us at a trade fair?
Yes. We can visit fairs for you, collect and compare supplier profiles per category, and support your own delegation on site.
How many suppliers will I get?
A supplier research report typically covers 5 to 10 suppliers with commercial profiles and a comparison matrix. At a trade fair we typically bring back 10 to 15 profiles and quotations per product category.
How fast do I know if a sample is right?
We consolidate and confirm samples at origin and send you a sample report within 24 hours.
Do you only work in China?
Our operations are in China. For Vietnam and the rest of Indochina we work with local partners, under the same program and in the same platform.
